Today, under the leadership of President and Owner David Walters, Jr., our dealership continues a proud family legacy that spans four generations. A Charleston native and graduate of The Citadel, Mr. Walters follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfathers, carrying forward a tradition that began when his great-grandfather opened Charleston’s first Ford dealership, Paul Motor Company, in 1918. That legacy continued with the founding of Jones Ford in 1967 by his grandfather, and remains a guiding force in everything we do today.
Mr. Walters, Jr. also serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association and the Carolina Ford Dealers Advertising Agency, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the automotive industry across the region.
